‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’ impresses Ajith
‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’ reflected a refreshing platter; a movie with equal quantity of sweet and spice. Making a debut into the Tamil tinsel town, Colonial Cousins have enhanced the movie with their remarkable musical tracks. Besides, the cast comprising of Vinay, Kajal Agarwal, Kalabhavan Mani, Santhanam and Cochin Haneefa steered the movie in right direction, with their fine performance. The director, Saran, has been successful to present a movie with a distinct flavour.
Now, the director is back to his director’s chair with ‘Asal’. Ajith-Sameera Reddy starrer, the movie is said to be a big-time venture and the shooting is fast approaching its final stages. Sources said that while the crew was in Singapore for the shooting, the hero of the movie, Ajith had requested the director to see ‘Modhi Vilaiyadu’. Saran immediately set out to arrange a special screening there for the actor. Ajith was truly impressed with the movie and said to have appreciated the director.
With a compliment from such a striking actor, we have to wait for ‘Asal’ to see what the director has stored in for us this time.

Vettaikkaaran Shooting in Pollachi
Vijay’s Vettaikkaaran shooting is currently going on in Pollachi. It is a 10 day shoot in which some village scenes and a Kuthu song will be shot on the lead pair Vijay and Anushka. Vijay Antony the king of Kuthu song has done the music and it is said the song is rocking and Vijay’s fan will love it.
On the shooting spot huge crowds are gathering to catch a glimpse of Vijay. Sources say that crowsd from Kerala and Coimbatore areas are also coming to the location to see Vijay.
Vettaikaran is Vijay’s 49th film and it is being directed by Babu Shivan, an assistant director of Dharani. The film is being produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan and it will be distributed by AVM Productions.

The actress, who has moved into her own apartment in Mumbai, has made plans to sell her Harrington Road home.
Despite being a Malayalam heroine, Asin courted fame only through her Tamil films, from ‘Pokkiri’ with Vijay, to ‘Ghajini’ with Suriya. It was, in fact, her last role that got her a ticket to act in Bollywood, with none less than Aamir Khan.
And with the film’s success, Asin has clearly moved lock, stock and barrel to Bollywood, in pursuit of a bigger career there.
Yet, there had been talks of her returning to Tamil films, like how Shriya did, after a few flops in Hindi. Asin has been lucky that way, being launched through a big film like ‘Ghajini’, and is being flooded with offers there.

ASAL to be released in Russian language
The entire tinsel town is catching with more and more mania of ‘ASAL’ day by day. Well, today there’s something more interesting in terms of astounding news for all ‘Thala’ fans.
Recently, few officials from Indo-Russian Cultural Society and Russian Society of Cinematographers have met for signing a deal. It has been revealed that many South Indian Films will be screened in Russian language over there in Russia. The first film to be dubbed and released in Russia on the same day of universal release will be ‘ASAL’.
This has really excited all Ajith fans as they’re eagerly waiting for the film’s release slated to hit the screens by November 27. The film's shooting is right now happening over the exotic locales of London and still more talkie portions are pending...
